Christine Hibbard, CTC, CPDT-KA
Passionate about establishing the country’s top behavior and training practice, Christine graduated with honors from the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers, pursued years of advanced study with experts who included Jean Donaldson and Janis Bradley, and then founded Companion Animal Solutions. She specializes in private behavior consultations, in-home training, and classroom teaching in the greater Seattle area.
Ruth LaRocque, CTC, CPDT-KA, CCBC-KA
Ruth is a graduate of the distinguished Academy for Dog Trainers located at the San Francisco SPCA where she studied with Jean Donaldson (author of Culture Clash and other award-winning dog training books) and Janis Bradley (author of Dogs Bite But Balloons and Slippers Are More Dangerous). She earned her CPDT-KA and CCBC-KA from the independant Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). Ruth’s training includes positive, reward-based humane methods that ensure your dog loves learning! We can instill good habits in your dog so they can be cherished family companions who have self-control and good manners. We use gentle methods and get strong results!
Peggy Adams Myers, CCS
Peggy’s love of science, animals and teaching come together in her work at Companion Animal Solutions. She’s dedicated to educating people about animal behavior and helping them solve training and behavior challenges. Peggy holds a B.S. in health education, graduated from the Seattle School of Canine Studies, and served an internship at CAS, observing and assisting in behavior consultation and training. She has taught group classes at The Dog Spot in Everett, WA and is a foster/trainer for Pets for Vets (www.pets-for-vets.com). She is currently preparing for her CPDT-KA certification. Peggy specializes in day training, puppy head start, and group classes in the Seattle, Eastside and Everett areas.
